Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It was very warm here. I went to camp and washed Mom's windows on Saturday. Yesterday we ran to Plattsburgh after church to pick up a few things. Cody's fishing pole broke Saturday night and my faithful readers know that he can't go without a fishing pole! So we braved 90 degree temps and fought off the crowds and went to town.
So here we are, back at Monday, asking where the weekend went! Last week was a long one. Daycare every day, as well as several craft projects that I was hired to do.
My first was a mailbox that I was commissioned to paint for my sister in law for her husband for father's day. I realize this tractor is red, but it was a commissioned piece, so red, I will paint!
The next is a galvonized bucket that my friend Peggy asked me to dress up for her. I love how it turned out!!
And last, but certainly not least, take a look at this piece of heaven!! Peggy and I looked up a place on the way to Malone a week ago that advertised baked goods on Fridays and Saturdays. I was hoping it was an Amish home, as we have a lot of Amish in our area, and it was! Peggy treated me to a a dozen glazed doughnuts, and boy, were they good!! There was actually 2 dozen worth of doughnuts in this one dozen, they were the size of breakfast plates!
I am currently working on some Patriotic woodcrafts and hope to get them posted in a few days.
Our card ministry ladies got together on Friday night and made 98 cards for the church! It was a nice get together!!
