Good Morning! Before I head to church, I thought I would share with you my pictures from last night's fishing trip! Peter and Cody took off up river after their day in the woods, tackle box, poles, and worms in hand. After several hours, they returned with quite a catch! 8 altogether, 2 for Peter, 6 for Cody. Now we have enough in the freezer for a real feed. For Daddy, Peter, and Cody that is. Mom and I agreed that we would forego the trout for something else. Now I just have to figure out how to cook these things?! Aren't my boys cute?
Have a Blessed Sunday, everyone!

Oh my! Fabulous catch! We are planning our fishing trip, too! This week or next...
We cook our trout in a frying pan - with butter, and the fish in a batter of some sort.. I'll have to ask the big guy...
The best trout is over a campfire, or at the camp stove...
I have to say it looses it's appeal once we get home!
There's nothing tastier than fresh caught fish fried in a pan! Except maybe corn on the cob.
When I was a kid we used to visit our grandparents in Minnesota every other summer. My grandpa always took us fishing an then my gram would cook it up for dinner.
Supermarket fish just doesn't compare.
Great catch! I agree that fresh fish is one of my favorite things to eat! Enjoy it!
Could these two get any cuter? I love smoked trout, it's super yummy! The Code-Man really is a great fisherman-6!! Wow!
I love fishing! I just don't like to eat what I catch! LOL! I catch and release! Our big vacation last summer was to a lake shore cabin where we woke up, (ran) and fished! Love the pictures such happy boys!
