13th Birthday

The day has finally arrived! 13 years ago today, I gave birth to a 7 pound, 12 ounce baby boy! He was 20 3/4 inches long, and had faint blonde fuzz on his head, except for the back of his head, above his neck, where he had a full fringe of blonde hair. He looked like a little old man! Despite both of us being ill and hospitalized for a week after his birth, we got through it, and here we are, 13 years later! It is really hard to believe that it has been 13 years. We are such a blessed little family, and I am such a blessed Mom, to have such a great son. He is smart, tender, kind, compassionate, and funny beyond anything! He is also brave, always willing to try something new. He is never afraid of what others will think of him. He is perfect! I thank the Lord every day for my wonderful husband and beautiful son.
